BOOKING FEES

We do everything in our power to keep your costs as low as possible when renting the theater for your party, conference or special event and offer several levels of rental opportunities. Basic rates are for a turn-key use of the space only, with the space unaltered by changes in existing seating and stage configuration, using existing equipment only and with no staff technician(s) assigned other than our Production Manager to supervise load-in and train your designated designers or technicians on use of the equipment.

The Provincetown Theater will supply basic cleaning services to include; cleaning of the restrooms and lobby and theater spaces prior to and after your party, event or conference. This involves bagged trash removal only.

The Provincetown Theater dressing rooms are not included except for performance related events. The Provincetown Theater business offices are not included.

A security deposit of 50% of one day’s use of space is due upon the signing of agreement. This security deposit is refundable only after the performance, event or conference has taken place, and no unavoidable damage has occurred on the premises and in the parking lot and/or its equipment. This security deposit is non-refundable if an event, performance or conference is canceled for any reason.

There are forty available parking spaces for your event or performance and street parking when available. For special one day events and/or performances arrangements can be made to secure additional parking near the theater for an additional fee.

Any event that involves the selling of tickets must use the theater’s state of the art ticketing service, OvationTix and its web-based component, TheaterMania, for all or a majority portion of ticket sales. The ticket surcharge is not included  and requires an additional charge of $3.50 per ticket.

The Provincetown Theater may require additional liability insurance be purchased depending on the nature of the event. The Provincetown Theater has all necessary licenses for the serving of alcohol, catered food, and live entertainment.

All details will be clearly outlined in written agreement signed by both parties before the event.

Booking Rates

Please note that these rates are reviewed annually and subject to change.

IN SEASON: MAY 1 – OCTOBER 31

Rep, $350 per night (Lobby Only, $250)

Consecutive run, $3000 per week (Must book minimum of 5 dates per week).

OFF SEASON: NOVEMBER 1 – APRIL 30

Rep, $250 per night (Lobby Only, $150)

Consecutive run, $2500 per week (Must book minimum of 5 dates per week).

ADDITIONAL FEES FOR TICKETED EVENTS MAY INCLUDE:

Building and Utilities Fee $200 per night.
PTF Tech Supervisor must supervise load-in and strike. $30/hour, minimum 4 hours, one time fee. May be hired as production T.D., if available, for additional fee.
Box Office Fee – predetermined percentage of net ticket sales
