Join us for a powerful and intimate reading of The Vagina Monologues in celebration of Lesbian Visibility Week at The Provincetown Commons. This iconic, unapologetic play, by Eve Ensler, is a raw and moving exploration of women's experiences, voices, and stories. A talented slate of local actresses, including beloved and familiar faces from our community, will bring this work to life with passion and authenticity. This is a free, first-come, first-serve event, so come early to claim your seat and experience an evening of connection, empowerment, and visibility.
A Wicked Week of Workshops at the Provincetown Theater
In this camp, students in grades 5-8 will immerse themselves in the Wonderful World of Oz through scene work, costume and set design, song, and dance; all based on the hit Broadway musical, Wicked. Students will present a final demonstration to friends and family on April 25th at 1:30PM.
Camp runs from Monday April 21st - Friday April 25th, 10AM to 2PM.
Tuition is $200 per student. Families enrolling multiple students will pay $200 for the first student but only $50 for each additional student. Scholarships are available on an as needed basis
Act Three is a theater group dedicated to serving the needs, desires, and creative goals of members of the outer Cape community, ages 60 and up. This group is free of charge and includes play readings, personal story dramatization, public speaking, confidence and community building exercises, and workshops in acting, direction, costume design, set design, and choreography led by professional teaching artists. The intention of this group is to provide a safe and stimulating creative outlet for the older adults of our community.
The group meets Tuesdays at 5pm in the theater lobby, and complimentary food and drink are provided for all participants.
