Building a strong sense of community is core to our goals at the Provincetown Theater. 

As a 501c3 community arts institution, support from local, state, and national businesses is key to our ability to serve our patrons twelve months of the year with consistent quality entertainment. 

With fresh artistic leadership and a determined board of directors, the 2018 season was an absolute smash, breaking all box office records. Including five main-stage productions, and numerous special events and benefit performances, last year’s productions brought upwards of 7,000 ticket-buyers into the Provincetown Theater. 

In 2019, we anticipate even more growth. Along with our five fully-mounted productions and ongoing special events, the Provincetown Theater has secured partnership projects and productions with the Tennessee Williams Theater Festival, Provincetown Dance Festival, Castle Hill Arts Center, Provincetown Film Society, Day of the Dead Festival, Mosquito Story Slam, 24 Hour Plays, and the Fine Arts Work Center. Indeed, these partnerships continue to strengthen and deepen the Provincetown Theater’s mission to offer rich, diverse year-round programming to all who live — or venture to — the tip of Cape Cod.
