For the first time in nearly a hundred years in these parts of the country — the curtain went up on Mae West’s daring, romantic, thought-provoking, and (often) hilarious “homosexual melodrama” from 1927, The Drag. On behalf of our entire board, staff, design team and enormously talented cast, we’re all thrilled to be bringing this production to life on the Provincetown Theater stage, and welcoming our community back to our playhouse at 238 Bradford Street in Provincetown.
Plenty of good seats are still available for the remainder of the run. The Drag plays thru June 5 with performances on Thursday, Friday & Saturdays at 7PM, and Sunday matinees at 2PM.
Oh! just a heads up: We’ve slightly adjusted our COVID policy to keep our cast, staff, and community members healthy! Proof of vax AND masks are both required for the rest of the run of The Drag.
