Following up on the successful launch of our free-streaming production of The Laramie Project, and subsequent “Community Conversations” program, as well as a smashing virtual debut of The Mosquito Story Slam , we’re thrilled to invite you to join us for another free to the public streaming event on Thursday, April 23 — Kaufman & Hart’s delightful comedy classic You Can’t Take It with You, the story of an eccentric family of artists, inventors and lovebirds following their bliss during the Great Depression. Premiering at 7pm that night, our production of the 1937 Pulitzer Prize winner is being offered free-of-charge online for a limited time only: from Thurs, April 23 at 7pm thru Sun, April 26 at 11:59pm. For more information click the link below:
NOTE: Due to technical difficulties, our stream of the play only includes Acts One & Two and is missing Act Three. Our deepest apologies! If we’ve left you on the edge of your seat (and we hope we have), a thorough plot summary of Act Three can be found here on Wikipedia: https://bit.ly/3bzgFUQ
The streaming of this production (archived from our 2018 season) will also lead us into our next “Community Conversations” program on Tues, April 28 at 4pm. Indeed, please join us in that discussion of how the significance of family and friends in times of crisis is impacting our lives today. Moderated by Provincetown Theater Board President David Wilson, the panel of guests includes Provincetown Town Manager Robin Craver, among others.

In marshaling forward, on behalf of the entire staff and board of the Provincetown Theater, I must let you know how deeply grateful we are to every single person who has continued to pledge their support with donations in order to maintain and develop the work we’re doing together during these tumultuous and uncertain times. We will continue to support our community with pride no matter what the circumstances of our connection may be.
See you at the show!
